Sataya Reef (Dolphin House) Trip – A Unique Red Sea Experience

Sataya Reef, located in the southern Red Sea, is one of the most stunning natural destinations in Egypt. It is known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, vibrant coral reefs, and diverse marine life.

What makes this destination truly special is the opportunity to swim with dolphins in their natural habitat. Every morning, groups of dolphins gather inside the lagoon, offering guests a rare and unforgettable experience.

Location & Accessibility

The trip is easily accessible via:

  • Marsa Alam International Airport
  • Departure points:
    • Port Ghalib – located near the airport
    • Hamata Marina – south of Marsa Alam (approximately 3 hours from the airport)

Trip Schedule:

  • Arrival: Every Saturday
  • Departure: The following Saturday (7-day program)

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 – Saturday

  • Guest arrival and boarding the boat
  • Cabin check-in
  • Dinner on board
  • Free time to relax

Day 2 – Sunday (Start of Sea Program)

  • Breakfast
  • Sailing to Sataya Reef (approximately 3 hours)
  • Dolphin swimming session (around 90 minutes)
  • Lunch on board
  • Relaxation time (90 minutes)
  • Second dolphin swimming session
  • Return to the boat before sunset
  • Dinner and relaxation

Monday to Friday

Daily program includes:

  • Two dolphin swimming sessions per day
  • Exploring coral reefs and marine life
  • Optional activities:
    • Scuba diving
    • Freediving

Day 6 – Friday

  • Return to the marina
  • Dinner at the marina
  • Overnight stay

Day 7 – Saturday (Departure)

  • Check-out
  • Transfer to the airport according to flight schedule
